"/usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS00/SDM/root/origin"

will increase every time when i updata java SPS.

In Dev system , it was updated java SPS 6 -> 9 -> 10 -> 11 -> 12.

a size of this path is 3G

In Qas system , it was updated java SPS 6 -> 9 -> 10 -> 12.

a size of this path is 2.5G

In Trn system , it was updated java SPS 6 -> 12.

a size of this path is 1G

SDM version is 7.00. SAP version is NW04s

Please confirm that those file in this path was a temp file or not ??

Can i remove it for free space?

Thank in advance

Hi Korkiat,

I guess you can't remove that files, if any temp file generates during patch update will be removed automatically at the end of completion. This is not a temp file, so you can't remove.

Hi Hariprasad K,

Last Question, After I had checked in

path: /usr/sap/BWD/DVEBMGS00/j2ee/cluster/server0/log/archive,

I found invisible files (prefix with dot):

.%2Flog%2Fsystem%2Fserver.log1191954370534.zip

that was created everyday.

Summary of those files's size was 2GB.

Can i remove those files for free space?

Regards,

Korkiat.

Hi Korkiat,

If it's under .../log/archive you may delete with some precautions. Try to have a backup first(of the file), then create one empty file with same name and then remove the actual file.

Hari.
