Hi Murali,

EAI Viewer is in built in SAP, from release 4.6C & 4.7.

As per my understanding you need to open your attached files (Originals) in all the transactions like PO, Prod Ord, etc. which is not suitable method

Its easy through DIR or for others to open you can give them an access to CC04

Product Structure Browser or you can even see the attachments through CEWB Engineering Workbench.

Product Structure Browser is the best to view all the attachments to Material Master, BOM, or any of the processes.

If you have a problem in EAI viewer then you can try Re-Installing SAP GUI by selecting all the components manually.

Hi

use of EAI viewer It depends, what application string u define at DC30

goto DC30 (workstation application)

choose application which has the required doc type (which u intend to open view EAI viewer e.g <b>acd file suffix as dwg</b>)

goto define workstation tab

Select Data carrier defined in <b>DC20</b>

Select application type as <b>1 i.e. Display</b>

in Path with prog. name give this string<b> EAIWeb.webviewer2D.1 %SAP-CONTROL%</b>

for 3d visuals like JT use

<b>EAIWeb.webviewer3D.1 %SAP-CONTROL%</b>

you are done

now 1st check in the doc

nw thru

Service for object when u click display it ll open in ECL viewer (EAI)
