Exclusive lock in table NRIV

Hi,

An exclusive (dead) lock situation ocurring (at least 1 time per week)

in the table NRIV

The suggestion of SAP Note 920234 was already applied:

rdisp/rfc_min_wait_dia_wp = 6 (because we have 20 dialogs in each app

server)

nobuf/max_attempts = 4800

The only workaround (until now) is manually act like described in SAP

Note 572905:

1 Get (in transaction DB01) the process number holding the lock.

2 Cancel the process (in transaction SM50) - see attached dump.

What we can do to avoid this situation ?

Hi Ruchit,

In my country, the number ok FI documents must be assigned continuously, then the number range objects cannot buffered.

This is my problem!

It is not only the case in Brazil but in several countries.

I had this issue a long time back and I had come across this useful OSS note.
