When i am trying to test the service and the erro message appears :

Service Cannot Be Accessed !

Message no. SHTTP009

Diagnosis

You have not entered a handler, and the other services in the URL also do not have a handler. This means the service cannot be accessed by HTTP request.

Procedure

Check whether this is intentional, and if necessary, enter a handler.

What's HANDLER ?

Hello Belaji,

I can see from the URL you are being sent to, that the port number is zero '0'

There is no such thing as port zero, it is the default set during install to prevent unauthorized use of ITS,

You can temporarily set the port in transaction SMICM,

Check that the ICM service is running, select the menu item Goto->Services (Shift+F1)

Select the line for HTTP and select menu item Service->Change,

enter the port number you want, usually 80$$ where $$ is your actual system number, 00 or 01 for example,

and accept your changes, - you will be informed that this change is temporary and will revert back to '0' when the service is restarted.

You can now check to see if the new port works,

To permanently set the port:

Enter two new items in the instance profile using transaction RZ10

For example:

icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=80$$

ms/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=81$$

(The profile changes will be in effect only after an instance restart.)

David.

Here is a sample of what I have used for profile entries. This assumes you are ussing transaction strustsso2 and more than one application server.

<b>Default Profile</b>

Parameter Name Parameter value

ms/server_port_0 PROT=HTTP, PORT=<free port>

login/create_sso2_ticke 2

login/accept_sso2_ticket 1

icm/host_name_full <This can be blank>

icm/server_port_0 PROT=HTTP,PORT=XX,EXTBIND=1,TIMEOUT=300,PROCTIMEOUT=600

icm/server_port_1 PROT=SMTP,PORT=0,TIMEOUT=60,EXTBIND=1

icm/server_port_2 PROT=HTTPS,PORT=XXX,EXTBIND=1,TIMEOUT=300,PROCTIMEOUT=600

ssl/ssl_lib /sapmnt/<SID>/exe/libsapcrypto.o

sec/libsapsecu /sapmnt/<SID>/exe/libsapcrypto.o

ssf/ssfapi_lib /sapmnt/<SID>/exe/libsapcrypto.o

ssf/name SAPSECULIB

rfc/ext_debugging <optional>

<b>Instance ITS profile entries</b>

ms/server_port_1 PROT=HTTPS, PORT=<free port>

ms/server_port_0 PROT=HTTP, PORT=<free port>

The Blog by Durairaj Athavan Raja, titled "Running your first ITS WebGUI application in SAP Netweaver 04 ABAP Edition" can be found at https://weblogs.sdn.sap.com/pub/wlg/2204. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] I noticed no one mentioned publishing "SHUFFLER" in transaction SE80. There still are a few bugs with the integrated ITS. I just applied SAP Note 1060643 and that fixed the logout issue but it also introduced another issue with our DMZ SAP Web Dispatcher. In a production landscape you will not want to activate all ITS services under SICF.

The message error is

Request line: GET /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui HTTP/1.1

Hi guys,

in an ABAP system you have to set two parameters to 1:

login/create_sso2_ticket

login/accept_sso2_ticket

for more info see in transaction rz11.

If you need more info or want to restart the internal ITS = ICM service which accepts the http requests then try transaction /smicm. For cache clearance and memory overview see /sitspmon.

Is there any manual or step by step configuration ??

I see the ITS DIRECTORY and a lot of services !!

Or just a tip.

Thank's again.

Former Member

Hello Eduardo,

You should activate the entire set of services under node: Default host->SAP->bc->gui>SAP>ITS. Simply select the last node (ITS) of this node list and from menu select Service/Virtual Host>Activate.

Hi Eduardo,

The new term used for ITS is webgui. Please look at the following SAP notes:

Note 709038 - SAP Integrated ITS,

Note 890606 - SAP NetWeaver 2004s integrated ITS: New features

These give you more details on it.

Cheers,

Nisch

Hi Nisch,

Webgui is not an alias for ITS... Webgui is simply SAPGui for HTML provided via ITS or Integrated ITS.

As mentioned by Joseph... ITS in version 2004s is fully integrated with the system and you can activate it using SICF

Hi Eduardo,

The ITS,I believe in NW04s is integreated. You will have to activate this service in the ABAP stack.

Go to transcation SICF.

defaulthost>sap>bc>gui>sap>its
