Unable to transform a RFC Function module in WebService

Hi all,

I made a function module RFC enable . I test it and it work's fine .

now i want to trnasform it as a Webservice using the wizard inside SAP but at the end of the wizard i got a errori message and nothing is done .

Does somebody can help me ?

PS : I works on ECC 6.0 (NetWeaver04S)

Found OSS Note 1014995 which explain my problem and solved it .

Ok, I read the note : it was a netweaver 7.0 bug !

Hi Olivier,

The error message is a generic one, it's "Web Service Object already exist" .

I made a test on ECC 5 ( WAS 6.40 ) with the same user and same authorization and that works fine .

So either it's a problem specific to your system or a bug in ECC 6.

I don't have access to ECC systems but I did create successfully web services from RFC function modules in WAS 6.20 (R/3 4.7), WAS 6.40 and WAS 7.0 (XI ).
