Error in STMS

when i try to access STMS , i am getting the following error

File
blrkecesbibw\sapmnt\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_BW7.PFL

could not be opened for writing (Permission denied)

Pls help

they could not access the path

Pls let me know of how to change teh setting settings in AL11 for DIR_TRANS

Hi Balaji,

As i mentioned before add <sid>adm and SAPService<sid> to the Administrator group

Hi Balaji,

Check that <sid>adm and SAPService<sid> have enough rights to read and write on sapmnt share

Users <sid>adm and SAPService<sid> should belong to the local administrator group....

Are you having this problem in windows or AIX?

In Windows 2003 Server

Message is WRITE_PROFILE_FAILED

Hi Balaji,

try adding SAP_<SID>_GlobalAdmin users to the SAP_<SID>_LocalAdmin group, that should solve the problem..

all the users in global admin are present in local admin

Again, check if user <sid>adm and SAPservice<sid> can access
<host>\sapmnt\trans
