Problem in creating CVC's

Hi Gurus,

I am not able to create CVC for a info provider as some of the fields (3 out of 10 fields) has no data or empty .

My question is

1,Do we have any other way to create cvc's even there are some empty fields in cube?

2. I cant remove that empty fields as i need it for further on going purpose and i cant create cvc's with empty fields.

Do we have any functional module or an any enhancement?

Check with the BADI definition /SAPAPO/SDP_MASTER.

you can write a rule that populates the CVC with a constant "OTHER " or somesuch

or If you are loading it from an infoprovider you can pre-populate your infoprovider with "OTHER" (where it is blank) in the transfer structure / Transfer rules (there is a green arrow next to the Characteristics that you can click on to look for the constant option)

For the characteristic in question, try to maintain a record with a description for a blank value using RSDMD transaction. I think this should do the trick.
