Issue related to Alerts?

Hi Friends,

Recently i configured Alerts .

Now i want to check whether my alert is working fine or not.For this

1. First i created an alert Category in ALRTCATDEF.

2. At RWB under Alert Configuration i can see my alert Category .

3. Even after running the report RSALERTTEST i can't see any test mail in Alert Inbox.::((,for this particular test mail do i need to create any Alert Rule ?

4. Under alert Inbox i can see two links subscription/personalization..what are thses two links for..?

5. How can i link my alert with any scenario ( without BPM ) ? Where i'll have to make an entry in the whole scenario...?

Regards,

Hi Santosh,

Check whether the alert reciepient list includes the user whose inbox you r using.

Also RSALERTTEST works fine then u will get result in inbox of reciepient

U can use look up to trigger alert without BPM in mapping thru SALERT_CREATE fm .

Regards
