Web Services Profiles

Are there any profiles that need to be added to the users so that thye can work with webservices from webAS?

I was going thro the tutorials at https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/pilot.sdn?page=eL_WS.htm

but the initial screen in the "CREATE FROM WIZARD" tutorial differs from the one we have on our 47 IDES system. Also the menu Utilities > Web Services > Create is not available in our 47 IDES system.

Please advise.

Hi Bhaskar,

I'm not sure but is your 4.7 based on WAS 6.40 or on 6.20?

when I check on 4.7 IDES based on WAS 6.20 then

I don't have menu: utilities-> more utilities -> create web service

but when I check on WAS 6.40 I have this menu

you can also try this:

Sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 04

ABAP edition

you should be able to create WSs with this one:)

Are there any instructions out there that I can follow to install the sneak previews?
