I need to install NW2004s in AIX Machine

NFS is Network file system.

Incase if you are doing a single system installation you will not require NFS to be configure it on your AIX Server.
Where as incase you are having additional application servers , then you will require the NFS to be configured to access the binaries across the landscape.

NFS on AIX is Network File System. It is used when you want to share file system on other server on network.
