Hi All XI expert

I want to add some SAP software component in SLD please help me how can we add software component SRM 5.5

Right now I have software component version of product SRM is 4.0

Hi Amit,

from the SLD page (http://host:port/sld/index.jsp), choose software catalogue, then choose software type as "software components", then click on new component button , then you can assign it to the already existed product.

Also check this thread..

also give me ur mail id...i am having some good docs related to SLD...

in alredy existed product that product i want to add is not existed

i want add SRM5.5

But in existing product version is 3.0and 4.0 and i want to add new component

SRM5.5 how can i do help me its urgent

hi amit,

For SRM5.5 you may have different tpz files, you just deploy it and import the same in IR.

i have alredy imported that tpz and in IR i have find SRM version 5.5 but i want to add in software component

Hi Amit,

You need to download CIM content from sap market place.

See SAP Note 669669 on how/where to/from download.

When we have imported that Zip file in SLD any previous setting will change or not ???

Hi Amit,

Can you clarify what exactly do you mean by setting ?

If you have created your Own Products & SC.. they wont be changed. But if you have modified SAP objects in SLD .. they might be over written.
