How to configure Enviroment Variable settings for ECC 6 installation ? and what are the parameters we want to change ?

Hi Selvan,

After following what Umesh instructed, please run a prerequisite check using SAPINST. You might need to adjust your virtual memory and add another Environment Variable.

Thanks a lot for your kind Reply , and then I have a 2 partitions , C drive with 25 gb free space and D drive 80 Gb free space . Can we install sap in C drive and databace in D drive ?

Hi impact,

Check for the latest version for Java SDK in service.sap.com/pam. I think what you have should be ok.

This is a prerequisite to run the sapint.

I have a Java jsdk 1.2 Version , Before Start central instance , Java installation is a must na ? . This is the first time am installing ECC - 6 ,

I dont know what to do first what next , Can we advice me ? .

Hi,

You can not have your JDK version as low as 1.2.

The correct version for ECC-6 is 1.4.2_11 & Above
