java.lang.NullPointerException

Running XI 3 with SP13. Downloaded Java 1.4.09 and installed. Problem saving and creating Communication channel in Integration directory. Error - java.lang.NullPointerException. Any ideas how to fix. Have both old java version 1.4.6 and new one 1.4.09 as well.

Let the Java Home and path environmental variables point to the new version of JRE 14209 and not 14206.

Youc an get rid of the old version if it is not required.

Hi William,

I think the problem is due to Java 1.4.09 .I think JRE should be Java 1.4.08.

I am not sure.
