Help Please - JSPDynpro??

I just heard of JSPDynpro today. I've searched for more detailed information about it. Can someone point me to documentation on JSPDynpro? Can it be used for "pure" J2EE development with NDS where the portal is NOT used to present the application?

I'm hoping it is a tool that can be used to assist in quickly developing the UI for J2EE web applications that are not tied to SAP or EP. Any help would be GREATLY apprecaited.

Thanks you!

Hi Peggy

For the second portion of your question:

Dynpro comes from the German Dynamisches Programmieren (dynamic programing) which is used in ABAP to develop the UI.

If you want an app that is not tied to SAP I suggest you look into struts (apache.org)

Enjoy

Hi Peggy,

i never heard of JSPDynpro, only of WebDynpro. A WebDynpro consists of a graphical description of websites and java-statements and so it has similar function as an jsp in a j2ee development. It can be use with the NWDS (only there, it is sap-specific) and you need no Portal.
