Hi All,
Does IR, ID , SLD and RWB come under the diiferent design time components
Thank you
Deepthi
Hi deepthi
1.In design time components you have only IR(integration Repository)
in integratiion repository you again you have
data type
message type
message interface
message mapping
interface mapping
these are the design components in the IR.
2.the different components of the ID are
sender agreemnet
receiver determination
interface determination
receiver agreement
communication channel
these all come under the directory components)
3. SLD defines the all the systems(SAP or NON SAP) that all are communicating with the XI.
4. RWB is a central monitoring tool in which you can do the monitioring about the different componentsof the XI.In the RWB you can do the
1.Compnnt monitoring:in component monitoring you can monitor ifferent components of the XI like communication channel
2. Message Monitoring:in nmessage monitoring you can monitor the complete message flow in the XI.
there are other monitoring also
end to end monitoring
alert configuration etc...
Thanks

Hi
IR: To be used during design/development
Used to design interfaces, process and mapping objects that are used to implement Integration Scenarios
ID: For configuring scenarios from the IR at customers site
SLD: central repository of systems and software. It is actually a server application and XI is its technical client.
RWB: Central monitoring tool for all XI components and processes
Thanks

Hey
>>Does IR, ID , SLD and RWB come under the diiferent design time components
well i m not sure what exactly u wan't to ask but ID is not a design time object, its a configuration time object usually configured at the client site.for SLD there are few post-installation steps which needs to be done, rest all like creating Business sytem etc is done at clients site too so it can be considered as a configuration time obj.IR definitely is a design time obj.as far as RWB is concerned i guess since we don't do any development in RWB(used only for monitoring)hence it must be working correctly when u test the scenario,i.e after IR and ID are done
Thanx
Aamir

Hi Deepthi,
Does IR, ID , SLD and RWB come under the diiferent design time components>>
IR(Integration Directory) is Design time
ID(Integration Directory) is Configuration
SLD(System Landscape Directory) here u define ur Business system, SWCV etc...
RWB(Runtime WorkBench) here u can monitor diffrent component of XI...

BILL
