DUMP - RABAX_STATE - RFC destination XXXX does not exist

Hi all,

I am getting dump when I click on approval tab in SHC details.

I have attached SRM backend to one r/3 backend say A client but this dump shows me Dump for RFC of other client B (Backend) .

Why system is considering the other client while processing WF approvals?

Any guess?

Hi Navneet,

As informed by Atul check for the RFC settings and the ALE distribution between SRM & R/3. You can use BD97 transaction for checking RFC destinations.

Some of the related SAP Notes which may help you in resolving the issue

<b>Note 1096452 - Approval version cannot be created</b>

<b>Note 1020513 - Logical system unlike RFC destination</b>

<b>Note 1029154 - Template: Short dump RABAX_STATE when you maintain authoriz.</b>

If all the RFC & ALE settings are fine and the above SAP notes could not resolve your issue, you can look out for the related SAP notes based on the information provided in the dump.

Hi Navneet,

Check the enteries in table 'BBP_BACKEND_DEST'. Check whether the correct RFC destination is mapped to the R/3 backend. In standard programs the backend connection details are read from this table.

Also test the RFC connection in SM59, Check whether the RFC connection between SRM and the backend is correct.

Which SRM version are you using ?

Seems like the RFC destination is not configured properly. Please paste complete dump details, in your next reply.
