Dear all,

where we have to set in customizing if we require only one project per appropriation request.

The requirement is to have only one project per appropriation request. But when a project is created in Measures/Assets tab page in IMA11, the project tab is not disappearing so user is able to create as many projects he likes with the same AR. How we can restrict so that only one project can be created with one AR.

As far as i know there is no direct control as SAP works as if for one Approrpriation request can be used for a number of measures (1:n relation), but we can restrict this by making the user to carry out one more step named "Replacement by measure" in the control tab - status field. After creation of the first measure we can replace the AR by the measure. Once u replace no more modification(creation of new measure) can be done at AR level and the AR sieze to exists virtually.

Problem is though we replace AR with the measure, then also we can create another project with the same AR.

Hi Patil

Check the AR type settings, wether replacement by measure is marked. If the settings are correct then u cannot change any master data of the AR.

The other way to solve your problem is using user statuses.Try using standard user status "IM000001" with this u can lock the master data for the AR. This will solve your problem
