Former Member

Hi !!

In line with the document on ths subject at SDN i have assigned the J2EE server host and port in the preferences TAB.

I also checked successfully the connectivity using the Telnet command . Still when i view the J2EE engine , it doesnt show green or connected in the NWDS .

What could be the problem . Please advise.

Thanks in advance

Hi Milind,

In the preference tab you need to mention the j2EEmessage server host and message server port.

You can check it in System Information (you will find it by browsing through

http://host:port/index.html).

Check the message server host and message server port.

That was a great help thank you very much. I checked myself with the administrator the port assigned there is 3900 while i was trying with default 3601. Thanks for the help .

The problem could be that the server is not started.
