Hi,
I want to know how to keep backup of one script.
I got a ticket to modify one script, i know the problem where it is, but someone else was modifying that one in onsite. when i do changes to it, it was storing in the request created by that person.
So can any one help me how to create a new request for that.
Thanks & Regards,
Ramana Prasad.
if someone is modifying the same object it is not possible to create a new request, only thing you can do is you can save under his request... it is always not advisable to do modification by two developers at the sametime..

hi,
do this if you are the person to do that ticket or oterwise you will face a problem
-> go to the se01
-> provide the request no in which your script is stored and then go with display
-> open that request until you get the script name and then place the cursor on the script and go with delete in the application toolbar
-> and go back to se71 and provide the name of your script and go with change
->now it asks for new request.
Thanks,
Nethaji.
