Replication between R/3 and SRM (DNL_CUST_BASIS3)

we are trying to replicate the Material Master data from R/3 to SRM.

We started the initial load for the following objects.

DNL_CUST_BASIS3

DNL_CUST_PROD0

DNL_CUST_PROD1

DNL_CUST_SRVMAS

The DNL_CUST_BASIS3 object type failed during the load. It failed after loading 14 blocks. The other Object types completed successfully.

SMQ1 on SRM system shows the status "SYSFAIL" for DNL_CUST_BASIS3.

The SYSFAIL error message is "No Storage space available for extending table IT_155". We checked the OS and the Tablespace and there is more than 20 GB space.

Has anyone encountered this error. Thanks

Hi Gabrie,

Check the filter settings for customizing objects using R3AC3.

Also inform the error description shown in R3AM1 (Load Monitor).

Some of the OSS notes for your reference :

Note 557392 - Initial load remains in status 'Running'

Note 1038966 - Entries missing in TCURX after load of DNL_CUST_BASIS3

Check the table settings once again in R/3 as well as SRM once again.

Inform me about the above mention observation points.

Hi Teja, we checked all the setting again and they all looked fine. Also I found out a blog (/people/marcin.gajewski/blog/2007/02/05/how-to-replicate-material-master-from-r3-to-srm) and checked the details per the blog also and we have the settings that are described here also. There is no abap dump. Also it is failing only after completing 14 blocks. The CNUI transaction also shows most of the data that was loaded during that data load. Only few are missing...we are only using a Simplified classis scenario at this time. So not sure what is wrong here..the SYSFAIL error message is very ambigous....Thanks

Hi Gabrie,

The problem looks to be coming from a program error due to CRM middle ware adapter settings.Then the following message shows up in SMQ2 :

In Transaction SMQ2, the initial load queue is on SYSFAIL with the message "No storage space available for extending... ", a corresponding short dump "TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED" is in Transaction ST22.

Please refer the below OSS note to resolve this issue :

Hello Teja, I checked the settings. Then we opened a OSS message also with SAP and they refered a OSS note (Note 872533) which says the DNL_CUST_BASIS is obsolete and not longer required for SRM Server 4.0. So I guess I dont have to worry. Thanks for all the help. Appreciate it.

Hi Yann, I checked with SAP again and this is what they said.

DNL_CUST_BASIS5 is just an example, also DNL_CUST_BASIS3 is meant,

in general ALL DNL_CUST_BASIS*.

- Recalling my last note DNL_CUST_BASIS3 should not have been touched,

if you did I assume you have status abort (red) in /R3AM1.

You got instructions in hand with my last replies how to switch

status back to Done (green) using debugger in table SMOFDSTAT.
