Hi,

While trying to Logon Screen, i see that was not able to logon as it was giving Error message "User is Locked, please contact the person responsible". This

is IDES version.

The person who installed it, is not in place. Kindly let me know how to reset the USER ID; so that i can work on it.

Hi Nitha,

The answer given by Pradeep is suitable when some object is locked while working in portal.

But in your case the user is locked. To unlock it follow these steps

1. Log into portal using another persons id who is having user administration role.

2. Go to UserAdministration--->Identity Management

3.In the opened window select search crieteria as 'User' and give ur user id in the inputfield and search for it.

4.U will get ur name and id in the below table.

5. Select that and click the 'unlock button' which is just above the table.

Now logoff the portal and enter using ur id.

Hi Nitha

ur account is locked. u can unlock ur account from protal with a user having administrator roles. In portal under <b>[System Administration.->Monitoring</b>, here u can see <b>Portal</b> in left corner. under this portal u can see <b>Object locking</b>. U can unlock ur userid from here
