Hello,
When ever we go into the Interactive Planning, it displays a message as "Selection locked by user (User ID)" and it loads the data in display mode in the Interactive planning book. He is not yet all login in the system as SM04 is not showing his ID and also his ID is not there in the lock entries (SM12).
Is there any solution how to closeout of this problem, as none of the users could able to work in the system at this point of time.
what is your configuration of "Locking Logic" at Planning area level ? You can look at it by right clicking on planning area in MSDP_ADMIN and going to the Locking Logic tab ?

Hi Srinivas,
The Planning Area Locking Logic is no where relevant for this issue because the user ID is not showing in Lock entries (SM12). We are using Livecache lock and Keyfigure specific lock. Some where in the table the ID has been locked and none of the process is running by this user and he no where logged into the system.
Harish,
Yes, there are no processes with this user ID.
Finally I created a Customer message, got reply saying that input selection is good but output selection parameters needs to be maintained in Livecache.
Yet to get the full details for my message and meanwhile I transferred the request to Basis team for early solution.
Hi Phillip,
Check whether u r getting the message from any user exit?
Regards,
Siva.

Hi Siva,
We were getting similar messages in quality environment earlier, we used to bounce the system and restart to resolve temporarily. But we too getting the similar problems in the Production environment too, but we can't bounce it.
We found that when ever the user rebooted his system without comeout of Interactive planning then automatically his selection ID is getting locked.
We would like to have a permanent solution for this issue.
