Profit Center in VA01

Hi all...

I have created a substitution rule and assigned it for the profit center determination ,the problem is that the sales area is withdrawn in sequence as follows:material master then customer master and then from the derivation rule.

all that i need is to have the determination first from the derivation rule.

Please advice.

Hello,

Profit center can be maintained in material master.

You need to put your logic in USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP in include MV45AFZZ if you want to use profit center at the time of Sales order creation, .

As Mentioned the Profit Center can be maintained in Material Master, Customer Master.in Sales Document Header Data, Using the derivation rule your requirment can be fulfilled.Please check with your FI/CO Consultant on this.

Hi Adel,

Standard SAP will read your profit center substitution rules only at the time of accounting entry posting into CO module. If you want to apply your logic at the time of Sales order creation, you need to put your logic in USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP in include MV45AFZZ.
