Inquiry / quotation: rebate in kind

Dear all,

we want to implement rebate in kind in inquiries and quotations. Unfortunatelly SAP doesn't provide these functionality (see OSS 549505). The only possibility is to modify the system.

Has anybody experience with this topic or found other solutions (then modification) to enable rebate in kind in inquiries / quotations?

See Mr. Inquiry and Quotations are pre sales documents. If the customer inquires of a particular product there is only 30% chance to purchase that material, where as in Quotation 70% probability are there. But where as in Sales order 100% probability are there. So except sales order, I think no need to maintain Rebate in IN & QT.
