We use lot of subjective attributes in bid invitation, such as "describe warranty process".
It is impossible to give any values how to score answers beforehand.
Is there any way to score these kinds of attributes after all the bids have come in?
We would like to use these points in bid comparison function.
One way to give points is to compare bids in excel spreadsheet, but it is not very user friendly.
Is there any way we could use manual weighting function in this scenario?
We are running SRM 5.0

Thank you for your reply. It didn't quite answer our question.
Example:
We have items in our bid invitation which has a text attribute
"describe and document the warranty process with"
The attribute itself has a standard text field of 130 char.
In addition we usually receive attachment files to give more detailed
information of warranty process.
There is no way how to give fixed values to the answers we receive for the this
attribute in creation of bid invitation.
After the bidding period, we assess all replies to attribute and give points after the assessment.
Since there is no way to give fixed values beforehand, we have to use manual
weighting factor in this attribute.
What I'm trying ask is there a way to give points to the system after assessment?

Hi
<b>Please go through this -></b>
If you maintain dynamic attributes in a bid invitation of the "quantity" type and enter a unit of measurement, this UOM is not converted to the logon language in the weighting screen when displaying the parameter values for this attribute.
Note 921195 Unit of measure is not converted on weighting screen
The text value in the weighting set is not updated after the fix value of the dynamic attribute had been udpated. Since the fix value of the dynamic attribute becomes out of the sync with the text value in the weighting set, the bid evaluation score for this attribute is always 0.
Note 850054 Text value in the weighting set is not updated
In a bid invitation, you activate the weighting at item level for the default fields 'Delivery time', 'Net price' or 'Quantity' and select "Manual valuation" as the weighting function. If the system delivers a bid and you go to the item level of this bid to carry out the manual valuation, the system does not display the default fields mentioned above under the "Weighting" tab title and therefore a value assignment cannot occur.
Note 836931 Bid invitation: Manual valuation of default fields
Note 784550 Incorrect error message weighting
Note 780108 Scrolling in comparison of bids does not function correctly
<b>Which SRM version are you using ?</b>
Hope this will help.
