what is the difference between DSA and RSA?

When creating SAPlogonticket , we have the options to select DSA or RSA.

What is the difference between them?

RSA (Rivest, Shamir, Adleman), DSA (Digital Signature Algorithm)

As far as i know RSA can be used for encryption and digital signatures and DSA just for Digital Signatures

Look at Google theres a lot of good articles and discutions on which one is better...
