serial numbers in delivery note

Hi Gurus

We use delivery without reference(vl01no) for shipping out the non stock items .The items contains serial numbers that needs to be included in this delivery note.

Can anyone tell me whether this can be achieved by configuration??.If so, please tell me the configuration settings.

you have to assign the material master you use in delivery a serial number profile.

This serial number profile must have a mandatory flag for deliveries (SPRO sales->basic functions->serial number->serial number profile

Event SDCC, use param 03 to make it mandatory.

Hi,

Do you know if there is a way to make this mandatory for outbound deliveries, but not required for inbound deliveries.

For example, I create an inbound delivery for a purchase order. I don't want to enter serial numbers here.

When I create an outbound delivery, then I want the serial numbers to be mandatory SDCC 03.

Please advise.
