Hi,

What is IMG project?when we will go for IMG project.

What is the difference between IMG project & IMG Project View.

In addition you can go to SPRO_ADMIN to setup your project security access. What you will do is go into SPRO_ADMIN and setup a project for whatever specific module will be deploying (ex. FI, CO, MM). You will set the IMG structure that the project will have access to. Once you have set the project you have to go into PFCG and create a role for that project and add the project to your new role.

"SAP provides the SAP Reference IMG to help customers to setup (customize) their SAP System for their requirements. The SAP Reference IMG contains all IMG activities and their documentation, arranged by application components......"

In short running tx. SPRO you enter into the IMG tree structure that it's used for all the customizing activities. You can also define views of this tree, for example defining a sub-tree containing only the activities to be performed to activate the MM module (and after this you can design the profiles properly...so your MM consultants will see only this part...)
