File to Idoc - Mandatory fields

Hi,

In file to idoc scenario...How to identify mandatory fields in particular idoc...I am using CREMAS05..Can anyone give some detail explanation..and what type of data should be transferred from file for each mandatory fields..

In this scenario i am facing errors..i already posted that error message but i am not able to get required answers..

Hi Prakash,

The mandatory fields in IDoc

IDoc actually carries two set of data

1. Header information, which is basically a routing information

-few mandatory fields that i remember

Message Type

Basic Type

Direction

and many more..

2. The actual data itself

The best way to identify the mandatory fields are

- open your Idoc in Message Editor in XI, you can see the filed in red color

- If the occurences tab of each data type says 1 then it is mandatory
