WBS Element Groups - Clarification required

Hi,

I need help to understand what are WBS element groups used for?

How can we find out for any WBS element, that is it assigned to some group or not.

Hi,

The main purpose of WBS grouping is to group material procurement from various WBSE. In grouping WBS, one WBSE is treated as grouping WBSE from which all material requirement will flow based on material grouping.
