We can assign the pricing procedure with the following path: Spro > Sales and Distribution > Basic Functions > Pricing > Pricing Control > Define and Assign Pricing Procedures > Define Pricing Procedure Determination / Assign document pricing procedures to order types / Assign document pricing procedures to billing types
There is also "pricing procedure" area under "define condition types" > "Maintain condition types" > "Any condition type" under Master data . What is the use of the pricing procedure area which is under "define condition types" ?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
The system uses the <b>pricing procedure</b> that you enter in the master data section of the condition type in V/06 to control the use of <b>condition supplements</b> in records of this condition type. You can apply the discounts that are defined in the pricing procedure as condition supplements during pricing.
<b>Condition Supplement:</b>
Say for the condition type <b>"PR00"</b> you have maintained a pricing procedure which includes a discount say <b>"K004"</b>. So according to condition supplement function whenever the system comes across this condition type <b>"PR00"</b> it will automatically give an additional discount through <b>"K004"</b>. This discount will be apart from the regular discount given.
Hope this clarifies your doubt.

It is used for the Condition Supplement function. The Pricing procedure defined in this field is accessed for determining if any condition supplement exists for the condition type or not.
For pricing procedure determination, <b>Sales Area + Document Pricing Procedure + Customer Pricing procedure = Pricing Procedure</b>, is used.
