How to enable NW04s' EP7?

We installed an NW04s last week. When installing it , we did NOT enable

the EP7 (i.e. did not intend to use it as an EP7).

Now we want to use it as an EP7. Please inform us how to do that without

re-install it.

Hi Jennifer,

You can edit your system and install usage type EP7 on your existing system using JSPM tool.

for that please make sure that your existing system is a Dual Stack (ABAP+J2EE Stack).

After this you need to initiate the JSPM tool :

1) For that you need to login to the OS Level using <sid>adm

2) Go to /usr/sap/<sid>/j2ee/JSPM/go.bat.

After that you need to select the Usage type install option.

You will require to dowload all the SCA file in EPS/in folder (respective to EP)

I do not have any document for that.

But I hope if you follow the above steps then you will be able to meet your requirements of EP installation.

Hi,

You can do that by importing Software Units of EP7 using JSPM. Pls. check patch level of J2EE engine & then import relevent EP7 software units.
