SPRO accessing error

Dear Guru,

One of my user is using the Tcode SPRO, another user is trying to access the same TCODE, from the same user name., same client the message says tcode is locked by the user,

how can i make more then one user can access the TCode.??

Hi Ravi,

are you asking 1) how to make multiple users to access same transaction or

2) you are expecting a solution for an messsage says tcode is locked by the user. if 1 is your question then answer is many Tcodes allows you to view the details by multiple users, but multiple users cannot open in edit mode,i.e, change mode, as it will hold a lock for exclusive access of the record for one particular user( first) .

If your Question is 2,then the answer will be the somebody else is using the tcode, if the message show the same user name and client, then probably there is an lock left unreleased on SM12, go to Sm12 and check whether it is valid, if not delete it. please be aware of the problem when you delet a lock on SM12.

Hi Ravi,

This is SAP Object Locking Concept and used for maintaining data security and intergration. So you can not make two users change the same data at a time
