Hi all,

When we are running the payroll we are getting the below dump.

TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED.

shall i increase the virtual memory?

present we are having 6gb of RAM.

how can i give the virtual memeory sizes?

Any body please give me the solution.

Hi Vinay,

You can increase the virtual memory, follow the steps:

1. right click my computer.

2 then select the advance tab.

3.then click on the performance option push button under performance option.

4.then click on change push button.

5. then select the drive and set the requried page size in that particular drive.

set the initial size and the maximum size.

6. then click ok.

after all you have to restart the system to take on the change made.

the problem is not related to RAM, rather to virtual address space on 32-bit Windows:

- check if /3GB option is activated in boot.ini (notes 110172, 552209)

- or reduce some SAP SHM buffers

as long term solution you will need to migrate to 64-bit OS

Pls refer note no Notes 393820, 686971 and Pls think of upgrading the HR support pacakges.

Pls provide the details like current SP levels, the report with which you are getting the dump.
