Hi all
In DEV i had 3 interfaces in 1 software component Version with respective namespace.
I transported the 2 interfaces(namespace) .tpz from dev to Quality Server through file transfer sucessfully , and the are working properly.
BUT Due to some problem in dev server i was unable to transport the 3rd interface So i developed the 3rd interface in IR of quality, but the 3rd interface namespace is giving error , if i try to activate any ExchangeFaultData,
ExchangeLogData or my self created DataType & Message Type.
it is giving the error :
Check result for Data Type ExchangeFaultData | urn:thirdnamespace:in:
Namespace urn:thirdnamespace:in is not defined in the software component version ABC_SOFT_COMP_VERS, 1.0 of www.ABC.com
Object Data Type ExchangeFaultData | urn:thirdnamespace:in references the inactive object Data Type ExchangeLogData | urn:thirdnamespace
WHAT MIGHT BE THE REASON :
NOTE : -- soft comp version in Dev & Quality are same.
-- all 3 interface/namespace are running properly in DEV Server
thx & Regards

tHX for the responce ...
it was due the chage list activation sequence :
firstly the change List for Soft Comp Version should activate than Change list for
ExchangeFaultData,
ExchangeLogData or my self created DataType & Message Type.

Hi,
you need to delete the namespace too from the software component version
only then you can activate the changes. And you need to create them again.

Akshay.
