Hi,

Open the Development Infrastructure Perspective, if its not visible add it from the menu Window-> Open Perspective-> Development Infrastructure.

Import Development Configuration.

Now you will be able to see the build space.

Under that their will be SC(Software Components) and DC(Development Components)

Click on add to create a new DC

or else right click on a existing Dc's and say sync to active/inactive version, this means you will be sync to the acitve or inactive versions.

active -> successfully activated.

inactive -> checked in but not activated.

Once the source is synced to the client . Double click on a file , it prompts for an activity and get the file from the dtr as checked out.

once the changes are done you can either revert or check in the sources back to the DTR.

Use the DTR perspective for check in and revert and activation.

Hi Manoj,

While you try to edit any file in the DC, it will automatically ask you to checkout.

After checking out you can make changes locally in NWDS and test it locally.

Once the changes are finalized you can checkin your changes back to DTR which will get updated on your DTR server and now if any user reading will get the updated content.

Sync is to synchronize the contents in your NWDS to that on DTR.
