Service for test tool activation - oss for the XI labyrinth

Hello,

possibly I am too stupid for this XI!?

Test tool in Int.Dir. is not working. I found an OSS 858049 which looks like it could help me!

But:

Symptom

Test Configuration tool in Integration Directory stops with an error:

Internal error: "IOException". The error occures on Receiver Determination step.

Reason and Prerequisites

One of the reason could be stopped http-service "simulation". Check the service using /nsicf

(default_host -> sap ->xi -> simulation).

Solution

Activate the service "simulation" if it is deactivated.

OK, where can I find that? In Vis.Admin. Area cluster I do not find a service "simulation" or "default host" or "nsicf" ? Where do I have to look for that?

Thank you! Ok, only 4 hours left before vacation.

These expectations could block my perception!

But have learned something new: Transaction SICF!

You write it by yourself where you can find it

So, do it and use Transaction <b>/nsicf</b>
