unable to perform remote client copy

Dear All,

I am trying to move the client from QAS server to PRD server, but it gives the following error message.

Hello Shark,

Did you check tables in question in source system & target system ?

Seems like there are deviation between structure of these tables in source

system and target system. Or target system doesn't have same tables.

You can see which field missing by client copy log via TX: SCC3.

And you can see each table's structure by TX: SE11.

Let me confirm that both source server and target server have same tables

in question and each tables has same fiealds on both side ?

Remote client copy compare source server and target server before executing

copy to find out DDIC inconsistency. My e-mail ID, you can see my personal

info.

When i created the client using scc4. i selected the profile sap_cust.

Later when i compared these table in target client i found some tables are missing , and for some tables fields are missing.

It looks these are sap standard tables.

not sure what to do.

You tried to copy client from QA server to PROD server.

Support package level is same btw QA and PROD ?

Or some note was applied to only QA server ?

I think there are 3 problems in your case.

Please look into SAP note.860720 for "Table definition ??? missing in the target

system".

Regarding "Table ??? is convertible to the RFC system, field missing locally", please confirm why such inconsistency occurred. You can see it by version management function in TX: SE11. Seems like modification was done on your side for these tables.

Regarding " Table ??? is only convertible from the local system to the RFC system". This table is ADDON table. Please clarify why this inconsistency occurred ? You can use version management function.

Here one more thing i would like to add,

Ale configuration is done in QAS (source) system.

and this system is on CUA.

I'm also not sure. But SAP addresses there are program error. We cannot know

what kind of program error are there. If you want to know it definitely, please

debug or send message to SAP. However this error seems to be fixed by lower Basis SP. What is your Basis SP level ?

Seems like note.860720 cannot be applied to your case.

If these 7 tables really missing, please clarify the reason. You should check

transport record by TX: SE09 in the 1st. And check note apply to QA server which might have caused this inconsistency.
