Approval note / Internal Note

Hi experts,

I'm courious what is practical difference beetwen Approval and Internal notes fields in Document tab in procurement documents in SRM 5.0... Any ideas? Is approval note visible only in during approval? Is internal note visible ony for the creator of the document? Is there any technical difference in terms of its visibility for different users or different aspects of the procurement process?

Hi

<b>The main difference between Approval note and Internal note is this -></b>

<b><u>Approval Note is basically for putting Approver's comments and will not be come in the Final Purchase order created in the SRM/ R-3 backend system,

Whereas Internal Note will be displayed for each line item in the Texts section of the Purchase Order screen (Vendor Text, Internal note, etc..)</u></b>

In common, both the notes will appear in the Documents section.

In Document Section - Here you can enter an internal note or an explanatory text. You can also upload documents from your PC and add them as attachments. Notes and attachments added here refer to the whole document.

Yes Approval note will be visible only Approval process. Internal note will appear to everybody access to that Shopping cart.
