500 Internal Server Error

Hello friends,

I have made a catalog on MDM 5.5 SP05 and I have also deployed the SCA files on the J2EE server.

For the config UI everything is working fine but for the search UI when I am viewing the catalog its ok but whenever I click on any item to view its details it gives me error saying as <b>500 Internal Server Error</b>.

Hi,

did you try restarting j2ee engine ?

maybe the service is not started on j2ee (deploy service)

No I havnt restarted J2EE server coz others are accessing the server like XI people.

Its actually XI production server so I cannot restart it.

Tell me any other option.........

If you cannot restart the server you can restart the the particular service by logging into Visual Administrator. in that naviagte to server->Deploy-> Application ->sap.com/tc_mdm there will be services for SRM MDM. Stop and start them.

Also check is the SAP MDM Server version maps to SRM MDM Catalog version.

Also you say that this error arises when you want to view the Item Details,right?

In the config UI just check if you have properly configured in the Item Details Tab for the Particular user.
