Dear all,
I've created a simple type MyDate. When i set format to yyyy.MM.dd it works fine, displays date like 2007.09.28. However, when i change the format to dd.MMM.yyyy the date is displayed like 28.099.2007...
According to simpledateformat, it should be possible though and it should display 28.Sept.2007 ...
Is there a limit on the formats that can be used in Web Dynpro?
Kind regards,
J.
Hi
For your requirement
dd MMMM yyyy
Check many ways for date formats

Hi Joren,
Try giving dd.MON.yyyy instead of dd.MMM.yyyy .

Thx for the answer, but that is not a valid format.
According to this thread, it should be a bug. Is it an offical bug with a fix?
It is a specific problem with the date picked from the datepicker. When automatic validation is done, there's a message that the format should be 28.Sep.2007 for example, which is correct. When manually entered, the date 28.Sep.2007 is accepted correctly too. Only the date picked from the datepicker and filled in in the inputfield is in the wrong format: 28.099.2007 and the automatic validation complains about the format too...
Kind regards,
J.
