SRM and XI Integration

I am new in SAP XI. I want to configure SRM, XI scenario in my organization please tell me step by step confiragration

1-Like which type of connection (RFC) we need to connect XI and SRM

and other thing ..

HI Amit !

Just now i send u 1 more doc follow that steps for this scenario ..

Configure the SLD is Basis work , but i also have done for my same scenario......

Create product ..S/ w Component , ...

technical LS & business LS as a ABAP same as for any scenario ........

other more configuration , u have to do , that is mentioned in that doc which i send u just now ....@ amit.shivhare@yahoo.co.in Check

one problem that i have facing

i an using netweaver 4.0 and SRM version 5.0 but when we have creating technical LS i can not find SRM 5.0 in Installed Software Component Versions

what can i do

Tell ur Basis gye to put this three file in the server .. so that u can import all the things that are predefined contents .. ur 80 % work will be done by importing only ....

I have completed this scenario 10 days back

files are

1)

XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.4.0_20_00.tpz

2)

XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_12_00.tpz

3)

XI7_0_SAP_SRM_SERVER_5.5_10_00.tpz

i have facing some problem-- please help me

When I am sending IDOC type Wp_plu from SAP IS retail to XI then in SAP side it will show idoc Data passed to port OK but when we monitor in XI side it will show error

“Party and service not defined” please help me

When I have created SLD then in software component SRM5.5 is not available

And I have already imported all *.TPZ that you have suggested in last discussion please help me

2: Proxy wd b most recommended
