Dear all,

Is there any way we can measure the up time of SAP in a day. Is there any report which can tell as to on each day what was the uptime in percentage.

Kindly help me in getting this info. It will be a great help for me.

Thanx & Regards

Arjun.

HI Arjun,

You can use ST06 - Operating System Collector - Available Days

Hope this answer your question.

But ST06 does not gives whether how much percent it was available in a day and I think it gives the status of SAPOSCAL availability not SAP. Any other option ??

Hi Arjun

Just 4 possible ways:

- if you have early watch reports (Solution Manager), there is an availability section.

- there are availibility nodes in CCMS, transaction RZ20 for various components

- if you have 3rd party monitoring tools, you can obtain uptime info there

- write a script, doing an rfc every minute, you could use the supplied startrfc executable:

startrfc -3 -h <myhost> -s <instnr> -c 000 -u DUMMY -p xxx -F ARFC_MAIL_SHIP

Transaction ST04 will give you the database uptime. If you are using the new DBACOCKPIT then you can get all sort of stats from it.
