Moving PO Release Strategy from DEV to PRD, SAP R3, Oracle9i, Solaris

Hi Experts,

We are creating new PO Release strategy in dev server after testing in Dev we need to transfet to PRD server (2 system landscape). But the problem is when we transfer to PRD we are not getting characterestics, classes,clasifications into PRD. I hear we can do same job through BD91, BD92, and BD93. How to do it (do we need to run these transactions in Dev or PRD) what are the inputs we have to give .

Can we move specified modifications only in Release strategy through these transactions.

Or is there any other details like precaustions, restrictions etc.

Hi Jali,

I faced this issue sometime back.First of all you need to create an ALE model in BD64 with message types:

CHRMAS — Characteristics master

CLSMAS — Class master

CLFMAS — Classification data

Generate the model and distribute it. Generate the partner profile in target as well.

Next do the distribution using BD91,BD92 and BD93 transactions. Process the idocs. Release strategy gets distributed through this process.
