Port number for Netweaver administrator - BI

Former Member

Hello,

I am trying to access the BI Netweaver Administartor through the web browser. My port number is set to 80$$ (system number). The problem is the administrator tool is not being displayed for my DEV or QA system.

Stating the folowing error:

URL http://server:8020/index.html call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

I am able to access it on my production environment, but through the port number 52000 even though my port number is 8020? Why would this be?

Does anybody know the port numbers I should be using for DEV and QA? I also have the portal DEV installed on the same BI DEV and portal QA on the same as BI QA. Could this be causing a conflict. Production BI and production portal are on seperate servers.

Any help would be appeaciated.

Thanks,

Nick.

Hi nick,

Check the icm port no in transaction smicm -- goto/parameters/display.

you may need to set the profile parameter icm/server_port_0

icm/server_port_1.

Hope this is useful

Hi Umesh,

icm/server_port_0 is set to PROT=HTTP,PORT=8020.

icm/server_port_1 PROT=HTTP,PORT=0.

What port number would icm/server_port_1 need to be set to for the netweaver administrator?

Cheers,

Nick.

Hi Nick,

Also go to SICF and make sure the Default_host is Active... if not right click it and click on "Activate Virtual Host"

Hi Juan,

It is active, but when I test it it states could not find host or port number.

They are set up in rz10 so not sure why that is?

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Nick.

Hi Nick,

Parameters seem ok.

Pls try after restarting ICM and J2EE server from SMICM .

Also try after invalidating the Http server cache in SMICM.

Hi Nick.

Go to SMICM -> Goto -> Services you'll be able to see the HTTP port there and the status.
