Hello SAP Prof,
If we dont assign access seq to the condition type in pricing schema , what will be the behaviour of that condition type. Is it compulsory to assign acc seq to condition type.
Hi Rajesh,
Access sequence is used to bring automatically condition value in to the document.
To maintain condition record for a condition type, access sequence is used.
When an access sequence is assigned kto condiktion type.....it searches for the condition record for a given combination of fields.
Access sequence is not possible to assign to header condtion type, as values for the header condition type are to b maintained manually.

Praveen.

hi,
effect w/o acc sequence:
when condition type is created w/o access sequence, u will not able to create condition record with that particular cond tyep. The system will throught error message. Since all cond tables will be linked to access seq it is required.
cond tables __linked with____>acc squence____linked to _____>cond type
however there are special condition type which doesnot uses acc sequence, they use requirement/alternate calculation type & altenate base value for determining prices.
eg: The cond type NRAB uses reuiremnt no 59 7 alternate base value 29 for determinig prices

Usually the header condition type are the condition types that do not have access sequence. If you do not have have access sequence then you cannot maintain the condition record. The value has then to be entered manually in the sales order.
