hi joy,

After going thro' the link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/b3/9a2aeb24dc4ab6b1855c99157529e4/frameset.htm i have understood the following .......

conversionID is a XI Message Header Field. In some mapping programs it may be necessary to access fields in the message header. For this purpose, the mapping runtime saves the field values as key-value pairs.Examples of Key-Value Pairs in the Map for Runtime Constants

Key - Value

MessageClass - ApplicationMessage

ProcessingMode - synchronous

ReceiverNamespace - http://com.sap/xi/example

The keys are derived from the field names of the fields in the message header.

and <b>conversionID</b> is the key of a field name of the Xi message header..

u can access the fields of the message header using string constant instead of key...<b>CONVERSION_ID</b> is a String constant of key <b>conversionID</b>

Hope it will help you...

All the best

Bill
