cProjects - Control Plan

Hi,

Can anyone explain me how functionally control plans are used to monitor and track the projects for quality. I can see how to configure but unable to see how it can help project to ahere to quality standards.

Hi Pughaz,

Control Plans in cProjects can be created as Routings/Inspection Plans in the backend in SAP quality. This can be done automaticlly by click of certain buttons. There is a BAdI which needs to be implemented for this.

You can not only create routings/ inspection plans in the backend, but also have an object link with the created backend objects in the cProjects control plans.

I am sure the slides that Shiv has sent will make you understand this clearly.

Thanks for the presentation, it was very usefull. Also I implemented the BAdi, I could see the generate object button but the drop down is not listing anything. Any reason ?..
