plant parameters are not maintained

why and when this error will come

The basic thing is that if you have not maintained plant parameters, you cannot even create a sale order and save.

When one tries to create stock for a material via trcode MB1C this error comes if Plant Parameters are not maintaned in Inventory Mgmt...

Hi,

This is related to inventory management, When you want to post any material movements, the palnt parameters needs to be maintained.

Goto -- Materials Manegement --> Inventory Management --> Physical inventory --> Plant parameters (Copy 1000 and chenge it to your plant)

As you are using the same is you personnel system, it is advicable to copy it from 1000.

Hi,

You shud give some more details like in which transaction this error is coming. Based on that solution will be varying. Might be in that transaction plant will be mandatory then it will check whether valid plant is present or not by checking with table t001w(base table).
