While installing SolMan4.0 do we require any key to be given. I want to do some testing within the 21 days temporary license expiration.
Also,
Is SolMan key required for installing ECC6.0 IDES & SRM5.0 IDES on Oracle DB?

Solution manager itself doesn´t need a key, it will, however, stop working if you don´t install a full license.
Yes - every product based on Netweaver 7.0 (2004s) will need a key (ERP 6.0, SRM 5.0), the database doesn´t matter.
